"Much talking is the cause of dager. Silence is the means of avoiding misfortune. The informative and reacting people are shut up in prisons. Others, without this kind of speech, walk freely about.” ~ bjorgnin inspired by Saskya Pandita.
This picture is just as relevant now as when I painted it as a student in the seventies.
The world's injustice is also grown larger, and Amnesty have more to do now than ever before. Let us support those who struggle for a more equal world society.

Great contribution to the Caged theme!
SvarSlettPotent. I really like the way you use the "stone" mat to cage the prisoner even more.
SvarSlettThis is a great piece of art and fits really well with the theme of 'caged'. The contrast between the light and dark tones make this piece of art very eye catching!
SvarSletti really like the stone effect and how the prisoner is captured behind the bars, it's brilliant! thanks for stopping by too =)
