"Art is not for the cultivated taste. It is to cultivate taste." ~ Nikki Giovanni
Cultivated grapes ferment into wine. The Greeks were experts in this process. Wine was made in honor of the gods and sacrificed to them. Here represented the most important of them in this connection. Dionysus, the good of vine, invites to synopsis, Hebe that bestows the gods of Olympus, and Demeter that makes everything grow, is the guest.
The illustration is made in water colors, and the inspirations are ancient Greek vase paintings in red figure style.
Beautiful imagery!
