Technique: Pencil and photo, adjustments in Photoshop
This week's topic is "Dusty" suggested by Lance Comstock (http://lance-comstock.blogspot.com/).
"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible." ~ T.E. Lawrence
Dusty Springfield was once many men's dream of a woman. Time has changed, and Dusty has been older as we all turn. To make the picture of Dusty more dusty I used the filter surface blur in Photoshop. The contours are softened by 'digital' dust....

The same idea by Fly Fly Blue Jay:
Sujata Khanna on Sunshine on my Canvas has almost the same idea!
It's a lovely portrait, great job! I love the Photoshop touch also. And thank you for mentioning mine.

SvarSlettI'm seeing a similiarity between you and Dusty Springfield. I'm also stuck singing her songs in my head now because I listened to a lot of her on youtube. LOVE the snow pictures!!
