Our World; Museum Garden, York

Part of the roman city wall of Eboracum and the ruins of the Norman church, St: Mary's Abby.

Oh, what's on? Do you want my nut? Best to hide it....

And I met Jackie and her husband for a cup of tea. Thanks a lot for the wonderful book about Yorkshire!

  1. York er en fantastisk by, har vært der med vikingebåten og vikingegjengen fra Hamar i februar under Vikingedagene. Da har vi kapprodd på elva der.
    Trivelig sted!
    Mange godeminner derfra.

  2. I York? Så deilig.
Det er vel noe spesielt med et hvert sted på jorden. Ofte ser man ikke sitt eget hjemsted før man har vært borte en tid.

    Ha en god dag :-9

  3. Hi again, been busy taking pics in the park, you got some nice ones, did you go inside the old Guild House? The squirrels are cute, usually quite tame too. I put our pics up on Cats on Tuesday, the link is on the right on my blogs. It was lovely to meet you, glad you like the book. Enjoy the rest of your visit.

The friend we had the appointment with didn't tell us he had had an accident the day before, he fell off a ladder, broke several ribs and dislocated his shoulder, so he was in a lot of pain when we arrived. Tomorrow we have to go to Harrogate for the day and on Friday we have a funeral of an old friend to attend.
