IF; "Spent"

.
Happiness doesn' t last forever

This week's topic is "Spent" suggested by Misterhow (http://misterhow.blogspot.com/).

“A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” ~ George Bernard Shaw
Information - I have no hammock!
Suddenly I saw the face of a man on the back of the hammock.... strange!

Abby, you got it. I also thought of the spent hammock, but didn't know if it had the same meaning in English!
And in Norwegain a person can be 'spent' (excited), too!

  1. I gave away my hammock. Now you've got me thinking that was a mistake -- but then maybe the mistake is better than letting it collect dust in the basement? Nice tension in this illustration.

  4. I have a big, colorful hammock I got in Guatemala. Once I get that strung up in between the old apple-trees in my garden, and it´s sunny and warm enough to crawl into it... now THAT is what I call summer!
    Lovely illustration. Watercolor this week?
